end of another week

Well I hope that everyone is having a good week.

I know the weather has gotten really cold here for us this week.  With all the snow we received though we did not have much of it stick.  Road reports this morning were saying black ice though, but by now it has melted (at least till morning).

Grandma has been all moved in to her new place.

My nephew is coming to stay with us for a while (about 10 days total) so kids are happy and not at the same time.  The worst is he goes to PS so I have to work around that schedule too.

Field Trip

We had a field trip today to Green-Acres-Corn-Maze by our house. 

   They had a petting zoo, and corn maze to go through.  Of course we only went through the small one, but they did have a large maze to go through if you dared.

  We got a little lost going through, but I think my son (stands about 6 feet tall) could see better than I could over the corn stalks.

This past week we finished our audio book "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow"

  Now I know that some might think that is a strange thing to make my kids listen to that as we drive down the road, but I think that it is a tale of someone scaring themselves and how foolish your imagination can get.

Yes I do let my kids trick or treat, but they have decent, non violent costumes.

haven't been on much

Sorry I haven't been on here much lately.

      My Mom and Step-dad sold their house of over 30 years and are moving.  I have been really busy getting things packed and moved.

Hopefully things will slow down soon and I can get back to schooling.
