As I get ready to leave for my daughters party today, I think about all the family that surrounds us either physically or mentally (if they live far away).
One of the things I hope my kids get out of being homeschooled is how important family really is. It seems that we are lost without them, whether we agree with what they do or not.
Everyone needs to stand by family (either biological, married into, or just really close friends) and we as a people need to stop being so judgmental of our family. They need a place to feel safe (our houses), they need a place to relax and know that they are loved and respected.
I hope that everyone remembers this and treats others the way they should during the trying times.

Friday (ok getting ahead of myself)
Hubby is taking the day off of work today (yeah)
We are going to get the yard finished -- I flooded the lawnmower today (no not on purpose)
get read for little girls party on Sat.
She is going to see Brave with a few friends and family, I will tell you about the movie after.

My to do list for today and tomorrow
pay property tax (oops before they auction them)
mow the yard
get laundry done (at least some)
take broken outdoor room stuff to the trash
give neighbor the number to HSLDA (he is going to start homeschool in the fall)

Summer Equinox
Can you believe that today is the first day of summer?? I know I am having a hard time with that.
Weather here today was nice, not too hot.
Little bug is off playing with friends (getting late for dinner, gonna have to call her).
Big Brother is off in his room planing what he is going to get her for b-day party.
Oh I hear Growler outside (she must be home now)
I love my dogs they tell me so much as to what is going on outside with her.
