leader training

    Well I don't really think my oldest was ready for the training that he got (OJT)  but I think he will survive it just fine.   His leader has left for the VBS rest of the week, so it is him and another teen taking the group (him in the lead).  So yes (on job training) at work. ha ha ha

    Going back in later tonight for the parent show, should be fun.

Venus

I am sure that over the last few days everyone has heard of the Venus transit.

My youngest and I are going to the local planetarium to try and see this for ourselves.

First day of vacation bible school was today.  Kids had fun

Theme is Big Sky everything is possible with God.

they are collecting money to buy mosquito nets for kids in Africa too.

first week of June

Well summer is here now.  Temps are getting up around 80* or more, it has been raining at least sprinkling almost everyday now.

VBS starts tomorrow (so I get to run around and get things done by myself for a while)
